I saw the thumb for this and it immediately caught my eye. The way she blends in yet stands out with the flowers on the tree is wonderful...it's as if she is a living flower. As I look at the perspective of your photo it makes me think as if you caught her by surprise.... as if you caught a fairy in the early afternoon. The soft colors, just out of focus background and the slightly surprised look of the model really make this photo. It's simplicity makes it an elegant picture and that is why I think is it so captivating.
The subtle compliments of the green and pink shades is simply wonderful, the model is stunning and her pose is breathtaking. I love how you composed the tree in the frame, allowing the branches to dance around in the background and even in the righthand foreground it looks like.
You followed the rule of thirds so well, the lighting is gorgeous, and the bokeh is just right. You managed to let the focus be on the model and the incredible branch she is posing on, while still being able to distinguish the blooms in the background just enough that we can see little seperations in them. Most of the time I just totally blur it all out, but I think I like this better. How did you capture the bokeh that way? Was it a certain lens, or lens filter, or just the "right" aperture?
It really is stunning-- it would make a beautiful painting as well as a photograph. Lovely work.
