skin doesn't matter by =suicide-bee Not only was this image suggested by multiple people, but it seems to have impressed us all! A beautiful and powerful statement. =inkeen who was one of the suggesters wrote, "This is such an expressive piece of photography which just made me "Wow" when I saw it the first time.. it makes one very thoughtful and silent."

grass!
sorry odd place to start. but thats the back ground i may have used had it been me and there had been grass. just because i feel it may have strengthend it image even more.

haveing said that, its pretty strikeing as it is!

the reason this picture caught and held my eye is. well i'm adopted. when i was three weeeks old i was adopted. so i don't feel like i am. but the thing that gives it awa is i'm chilean i was born in santiago. myfamily (and obviously since i was 3 weeks old me) are british. and white.

but there has never been any feelingi'm diferent. as far as my parents are concerned. i am me. i am their son.
it doen't matter that i'm shorter brauder and darker than them. my family in general have always had that thought process my cousin is married to an iraqi and has two kids another cousin has adopted a chinese girl. we are multinational and cultureal as a family. and i'm always saddened when people are suprised by our situation.

anyway i'm rambleing. my point is. my family have baught me up to beleive in equality and fairness and in embraceing diference. and your picture captures that idea perfectly!

a beutiful peice. and well worth the DD <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" /> fact!
